HOPEFULLY MINIMUM TAX PAID

Overall experience A. It would have liked to see a side-by-side window showing numbers input and where they actually appear on the return forms.
What's great about it: PRETTY EASY TO NAVIGATE
What's not so great: Not sure that exact relationship between inputs and final return numbers.

overall , I have used Turbotax for the last 18 years. Each year it makes preparing my taxes very simple and easy.I have reccomended to friends and relatives this software due to my paostive experience.
What's great about it: Guide me

EFILED FOR FIRST TIME

Occasional difficulties in interpreting exactly what was meant by instructions. A few examples, or the option to pull up some examples, would be most helpful and comforting. A notice that efiling form fill out is slightly more demanding than paper form mailing would be helpful before entering the e filing procedure. Got an " no errors' assessment before trying to efile and then encountered several requests for information that was not noted earlier. But would still highly recommend TTAX--been using it since its earliest days on DOS based systems!
What's great about it: Ability to move back and forth from forms to assisted step by step.
What's not so great: some difficulties adjusting moving from multiple state income tax paying states to non taxing state(fl).

Really bad tax year

I had a very complicated tax year and Turbo Tax handled it. It would have been nearly impossible to have done this by hand and very expensive to have had someone prepare it for me.
What's great about it: As always, Turbo Tax made this unsavory task easy
What's not so great: Owed more money than ever before

Love TurboTax, been using it forever

Should be easier to skip around, lots of times I do what ifs and at times I have to answer questions. Or I want to think about it and when I go back in sometimes I get asked the question again.
There should be a tab or button that I can click at anytime to explore on my own (i.e. Income, Deductions, etc) and it shows all the categories.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Explore on my own doesn't always display.

TurboTax Deluxe 2012

I have depended on TurboTax ever since it came on "floppy" disks (If you remember those) and ran on MSDOS. It has improved in stability and comprehensiveness every year! The capability to import data on IRAs and other investments from the financial institutions is a real time (and error) saver.
What's great about it: Stablility and regular updates for tax changes after purchase.
What's not so great: A few areas are hard to get back to using Easy Step.

Refund Made Easy

Turbo tax made our filing process easy, and quick. My wife and I will use again.
What's great about it: Simple, Easy,Just fill in the blanks and click submit
What's not so great: the 2.5% service charge to use a credit card.
