Walked me thru the process, got last years info, no problem. I filled in a wrong 1099 box and continued on thru deductions. The previous year comparisons made my error obvious and actually almost pointed to what was wrong. a quick edit of the 1099 fixed the problem, and the recalculation gave me much better numbers.
The final audit check cleaned up some very minor check boxes, and we were ready to file..
I dislike the state e-file fee, a last minute gouging feeling. I print and mail the state; much cheaper.
What's great about it: Walked me thru everything, Help general, but clear.
What's not so great: its deductable, a little klutzy, but I made it work

Easy to use if you have a fairly simple return. Even with some more difficult ones. However, I do not understand what was happening with the Iowa adjustment for depreciation it made that has been flowing thru since 2008. This year it said the adjustments screen couldn't be negative. I could not get it to fill in right. Hope I don't have trouble next year.
What's great about it: Step by step
What's not so great: Problems with entering car trade correctly - but I got it figured out

Overall -- good.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step-by-step & nice to be able to independently go where needed also
What's not so great: Do not like repeatedly being asked for auto entry when I want to enter data myself.

quick and easy

Everything is great with turbotax except one flaw. I entered in my 1099-R from a conversion of traditional IRA to a Roth IRA and there were some issues with the information I entered which I entered directly off the the 1099-R I had. Not sure if this is an issue with turbotax or an issue with the info from the form I received.
What's great about it: covers everything, easy to use
What's not so great: Issues with IRA conversion
Pros: I moved, I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

This is really easy software to use. I do not think that you could make a mistake, just read and follow. They do all the work. the best part is it is so much cheaper than sitting with some guy who is reading the same questions on his screen and typing in your answers. thanks Turbo tax for making this process(which we all love) go smooth and easy.
What's great about it: easy to use takes you through step by step.
