New York, here I come!

I have used Turbo Tax for the past four or five years and I can't believe how easy it is to do my taxes. No more scraps of paper, calculator errors, or staying up to all hours of the night in a panic.
What's great about it: Sooooooo easy!
What's not so great: What Cons?

I love turbo tax. However, it is very annoying when i takes you back to the top of a group when entering information . Should be able to continue along down the list instead of having to scroll down to where you were It is too time consuming. Should be an easy thing to fix.
What's great about it: very easy to use - almost mistake proof
What's not so great: have to go back and forth too often when going from one group of entries to the next

Great program. I have been using this for a number of years and it always makes tax time so much more bearable. Great info and tips to cover the many topics that affect me.
What's great about it: Clear, concise, simple, easy to navigate
What's not so great: A little slow
Pros: I bought or sold investments

First time with Turbotax

My taxes have been done by a CPA for decades. Since I've completely retired and am aware of my deductions, I decided to save a little and do it myself. It took a while and I had to redo some of the prep sheet that I had prepared, but next year....yes, I'll use Turbotax again....I'll have that done the way it needs to be and it will go much quicker. I don't even have to mail anything to the IRS or the state.
What's great about it: Seems to be thorough.
What's not so great: None that I can see.

Transferring from other years is a great feature.
What's great about it: Acts like an accoutant but does not get tired

I've used Turbo Tax for more than five years and appreciate the accuracy and importing of complicated brokerage information.
What's great about it: Easy to skip between forms; saw which were yet incomplete
What's not so great: Imports from previous year; when I imported from financial institutions, there were more forms than I needed--confusing

They're Filed!!

I've used Turbo Tax for the past 5-6 yrs and I swear every year the process has gotten easier. It could be because the program helps me to keep things organized during the year or I could just be getting better at it. In either case, they're filed, I'm done and the pain was minimal.
