Consistently great product

TurboTax incorrectly transferred a negative value for adjusted gross income into my Colorado return, instead of setting the value to zero, as it should have. There was no opportunity in the state program to override (and correct) the value.
The program also did not seem to adequately provide for an unusual situation regarding my 2012 state tax liability. I originally received a refund in 2012 and had no W-2 withholding for State taxes, but instead had to pay an additional amount for a previous underpayment as a result of an audit. This situation did not seem be adequately provided for in the program.
I am a former beta tester for TurboTax, and appreciate this opportunity to provide you feedback on the product. I have been using TurboTax -- both Deluxe and, occasionally, Premier -- since approx. 1993.
Thank you for your prompt attention to these matters.
What's great about it: Intuituve, great self-guided format
What's not so great: It's Deductible not fully integrated into product, as in former versions. Program error in transferring info to State

Very Easy

I've always used an accountant and was very hesitant to attempt my taxes on my own this year. Using Turbo Tax was very easy and I was pleasantly pleased to be able to go back and forth throughout the program without having to re-enter my information.
Without hesitation, I'll definitely be using Turbo Tax again next year!

2012 Deluxe

Been using TT since sometime in the '80's. Recent years, it seems that it is more difficult than in the past to follow TT and compare to the actual forms sent to IRS. But in the end, it all works
What's great about it: Does good, easy job
What's not so great: Easy Gude sometimes confusing

Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo tax for over 20 years, it has always worked great and they always continue to make the system better. I also like the fact that I can do things at my pace and at home. I dont like to go to people to look through all my stuff.
What's great about it: ease of use
What's not so great: Why the Gov doesnt provide service for free

Easy Convenient Fast

Turbo Tax is easy to use. Both Federal and State taxes are updated daily. It's fast and convenient. You don't have to go anywhere to do your taxes, just do it right there in your own little office at home. Click the "Save" button and come back later when you are not pressed for time; and do that as many times as you would like. You don't even have to make an appointment to file it. Turbo Tax puts you in charge of the your time and when completed, it's so easy to file the returns. Easy and safe too. No better way to do your taxes.
What's great about it: easy, convenient, fast, economical, low price

Love TurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for years, and I love it. It is so simple to use and it guides me through the whole process. I used to do taxes for a living, I prefer it this way. This was also the first year I used it for a second persons return, that was great.

Generally, I liked the smooth transition between functions and subjects. I don't like having to go to Adobe reader just to print out a form. If that is not necessary, then I don't like your lack of directions on procedure for the printing function. It would be nice if you could set up an easier procedure for separating Federal tax exempt int/div from state requirements. Please keep up the good work on K1's. It looks like they are here to stay even for non partnerships. (The IRS was trying to help me with a question on a non tax item and finally said "they were sure T.T. was doing it right since they didn't have a clue".)
What's great about it: Ease of use moving between functions
What's not so great: Either I did not understand printing or it is a very cumbersome process. Select form hit print is easier.
