best among all tax preparers

Great software ... state option no longer interesting for preparing state returns or efiling... many states provide this online free of charge!
What's great about it: easy to use...
What's not so great: do not force users to use non filing schedules or worksheets provide an option to not use but enter directly

First time user

Being a first time user I was skeptical to say the least. But, I felt very comfortable going through the process even though there were a lot of forms I had to include in the return. Answers were readily available for any questions I had. Will definitely use Turbox Tax again next year.
What's great about it: All I needed was my forms received from banks, etc
What's not so great: None come to mind
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved

2012 Federal and State Returns

Because of Turbo Tax I have been able to continue to self perform my personal taxes. The software, not only provides expedited and accurate calculating, but the ability to use trial and error data input to see a "what if" and then expunge for the true data is a plus. Without TurboTax, the tax laws are so egregious and complicated, I would have had to resort to a CPA to accomplish the return. As it is, I actually enjoy the process, particularly when the hard, grinding numerical calculation process is done by the software. Great product!
What's great about it: The Q & A technique is effective to remind me of items I might have forgotten and the carry over of information
What's not so great: Nothing significant

Piece of cake! I'm firing my CPA! My only concern is can I complete more than 1 set of returns for myself and other members of my family. Guess I'll find that out tonight.

We love Turbo Tax! With our big family, it is great to have previous year's info pulled forward. Also like how the program walks me thru new topics like investment rollovers and now college education expense deductions.
What's great about it: Walked me thru step by step
