Turbo Tax is Awesome! You never have to pay anyone to maximize your taxes. It's easy to use and extremely helpful that you couldn't mess up and can help maximize your tax returns!

Turbo Tax and me

I love Turbo Tax for its ease of use, accuracy and reasonable price. Unfortunately as my vision worsens, it is getting more and more difficult to use each year. I would really like to see a vision enhancement application available next year (assuming that I can see at all by then). In any event, keep up the good work. You make filing my taxes easier and safer than I could ver do with paper or other programs.
What's great about it: Accurate, easy tio use, reasonably priced
What's not so great: I have vision problems - so it is getting harder to use

Turbo Tax keeps you focused

I have used Turbo Tax for over 25 years. I particularly like the year to year comparisons. This feature assures me I haven't left out or reviewed a category. This year, I made a new car purchase and TT reminded me to to enter sales tax paid on that purchase which decreased my taxes owed. Best feature? Transfers federal data to state. Worth it's weight in gold. Great product. Thanks, Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: You won't miss a deduction or income item!
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Had a problem with the business auto deduction. I started down that path, figured out that it did not apply to me. Could not get rid of it until the review section, and then it was very unclear as to what I had to do to get rid of it. Had to figure it out on my own, and since the directions were non existent, it could have been a problem.
What's great about it: Can Do All Your Taxes in One Go.
What's not so great: Hard to go back and fix something once you have started it.

turbo through taxes

I procrastinate on doing my taxes every year, not so bad once I get started. I like the easy to follow format. Turbo Tax takes you through the process step by step, easy to navigate and easy to go back and edit information later. I like the sidebars of helpful tips to view right on the same page so you don't lose your place. I have been using Turbo Tax for a number of years now and find it very easy to use and navigate. I like the import feature so you don't have to go look up everything, and W-2 import worked for me this year. It makes the painful chore of doing your taxes alot easier and I feel more organized.
What's great about it: easy format, takes you step by step, allows you to go back and edit information at any time

Have enjoyed using Turbo Tax for many years and found it to be very accurate and reliable, but this year encounterred a printing problem. The last 2 or 3 lines of full page forms did not print in the default mode of full size. Never had this happen before and it resulted in reprinting approximately 50% by using the " fit " mode. Tried to adjust the bottom margin but nothing worked. Also missed a feature you had in the past. That is the comparison chart used to estimte next year's Tax Liability.
What's great about it: relatively fast and very accurate
What's not so great: troubles printing entire form on page
