What's great about it: have had no problems for several years and it is pretty easy
What's not so great: weird 1099 misc self employed tax questions that seem to only raise more

Turbo Tax worked well

I think it is all very easy to use, but the one thing that was hard was I tried to search for the Indiana 529 plan and it wouldn't find it. I gave up and thought, I'll just find it later, but sure enough it came up a few questions later. I guess I should have just moved forward first, but it was frustrating that their wasn't any info found when I searched for it.
What's great about it: Easy to get started

Need Better User Inteface

The prompts assume that you have a reasonable understanding of taxes and how they work. That just isn't true. The steps need to be simpler. Just one idea to a page. Sometime reading through a section is like sitting through an awful PowerPoint presentation where the presenter writes a paragraph on each silde with out any pictures.
What's great about it: Sleek appearence, organized
What's not so great: Still difficult to understand, not simple enough

I've been using TurboTax for years and by far this has been the quickest year yet with getting everything completed and submitted.
What's great about it: easy to follow directions
What's not so great: sometimes difficult locating a specific entry
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
