Greatest Refund Experience Ever!

I enjoyed using Turbo Tax because this was the first time I had to do the return by myself without my husband's help. In years past, he has always done it and this year due to physical issues, he was unable. I followed every screen and entered items just as I was instructed. I liked the running total it gave at the top of my screen to show me how much my refund was changing. I liked being able to click and get help. As scared as I was to do this, Turbo Tax made me feel very comfortable and took my nerves away. It was really awesome!!
What's great about it: The "easy guide" sections and the "what's this" pieces you can click on to understand something
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Easiest Taxes Ever!

I've got a very simple tax situation and I'm quite organized. WIthin 20 minutes, I completely installed and paid for the Deluxe Version of TurboTax, uploaded all my previous tax info, typed in a few numbers from my W-2, and transmitted my return. I have always been a TurboTax user, and this version and interface was the most streamlined and user-friendly to date. Thank you, TurboTax! Seeya next year!
What's great about it: Fast, simple, painless taxes!
What's not so great: Cons? What cons?
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy, Clear, and Quick!

Using TurboTax in conjunction with Quicken was easy, quick, and clear. The step-by-step instructions guided me through the process, making it easy to find and detail my income and expenses. Without that guidance, I would not have been able to detail all our income from various sources, and also detail all our expenses; medical deductions, new hearing aids and batteries, all my Schedule C income and deductions. A good experience - at least as good as doing taxes ever gets.
What's great about it: Due to heart problems I didn't have much time or energy this year to work on taxes. So, using TurboTax again was a given
What's not so great: THere was nothing I didn't like about the experience this year - well, maybe there was. Just having to do it was a drag.

Easy to Use BUT

I have used Turbo tax for many years. It has become a trusted product not only because it is easy to use but because I have never incountered any problems or errors. Both the state and federal returns have always been excepted without question.
However, this year I did experience one annoying lack of feature. When entering my charitable contributions, the federal return tax liability behaved as expected however the state return did not. I spent several hours trying to understand this behavior. I suspect the easy of the system is not compatible with also suppling me the detailed explanations I was seeking. On this occasion, I would have enjopyed more detailed information as to the how and why of what the program was doing.
My trust in the program does survive and I am sure I will use the software again next year.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is really a very easy to use program.
What's not so great: Details especailly those used in the State return are non-transparent.

I have used this software for several years. It is just easy to use every year. I gather my documents in advance, and just go through it step by step. It is very intuitive and robust to use. Absolutely no stress.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and they haven't failed me yet. With the easy-to-follow steps, anyone can be a tax expert. Why pay more than you have to for tax advice when it's right here for you to do on your own.
What's great about it: All you need for filing you taxes
What's not so great: Some explanations are vague, but more info in help!
Pros: I bought or sold investments
