Simple and Fast

This is my third year using Turbo Tax and it sure is a great way to get it done! While I can't say I enjoyed doing them Turbo Tax helped ease the process and is very user friendly.
What's great about it: A great way to do your own taxes!
What's not so great: Didn't like paying taxes!

Easy,Simple, No Brainer and Great Service!

it was so easy to complete taxes this year! I love that you can save your work and return to it for completion. The software walks you through everything so you don't miss deductions and alerts you as to any potential errors or red flags. Steve on the phone was great and followed up with a detailed email. Great tax experience!
What's great about it: Can do a little each day and save for later completion, great service on the phone and in chat
What's not so great: Long wait time for phone help but its late in tax season so acceptable

Getting Worse By The Year

This system will not handle the PFGBest Fraud event. Furthermore, it will not allow me to access blank forms it has not initiated in the process of filling out the returns. Have been a long time member, but couldn't remember my account info in order to purchase the Audit Defense. It directs you to a screen in which you are to enter the info e-mailed to you, but you have to close out that screen in order to get to your e-mail. When you come back, you have to start over and it won't accept the re-set password just sent to you. There is no way to talk to anyone to resolve these issues. Turbo Tax is getting worse each year.
What's not so great: Didn't Handle All Issues

2012 Tax

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years and each year it's less like filing taxes, then it is about answering some questions.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Not sure about not being able to see the forms

Turbo Tax Support is Great

I've been a user of Turbo Tax for many years and never used the online chat with a Tax professional, but this year we had some different circumstances which I wanted to confirm they were deductible and if so, how much of the expenses were deductible. They were very helpful and answered all my questions.

Seriously, this is the best and EASIEST way to do your taxes - have been using TTAX since the beginning.
ALL you have to do is read the questions and put in the numbers from your information, TTAX does the rest.
The ONLY drawback is - you still have to get your information for deductions out of your file - in my case the shoe box - and sort it out - which is why a file cabinet would come in handy - LOL
What's great about it: Easy and FAST
What's not so great: Still have to gather your information for input

re the Con above. In the past I have accidently printed my taxes to a printer at a different location than I am ( I do this at work). What a panic finding someone I trust to get my taxes before others see them! I freaked out this time bc I thought I had done it again (but did not- phew). Anyway, something that explicitly makes me select a printer and assures me nothing is printing until I do would be good. Default printers can wreak havoc.
What's great about it: easy to use, have used many times and ususally gets easier each time
What's not so great: during printing I want up front assurances it is not printing until I select a printer to print to

I was satisfied with the experience.
What's great about it: Thorough. Questions covered all necessary entries
What's not so great: When an error was found, I could not find the original entry easily, nor where I should correct it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
