Easy to Follow Steps

TurboTax Federal Returns make filing taxes easy. By just following their easy steps, the filing can be done quickly. The software does an excellent job of detailing what information is required. It also allows you to go back and revisit different topics to be sure your entries are correct. In the end, the big plus is getting to "e-file" your return. Your documents get sent safely and timely without the stress that comes from mailing documents. Also, TurboTax provides audit support for those that may require it. Highly recommend the use of this product by all tax preparers.
What's great about it: One on one steps simplify tax filing

CONSISTENT QUALITY PRODUCT, YEAR AFTER YEAR

I have used TurboTax for many years, year after year. I don't have to fight with the tax forms, TurboTax takes care of that for me.

I think TurboTax is great software to use for filing personal income taxes. It's easy to understand and navigate through the return. It's very helpful to remember everything you need to put in the return.
What's great about it: very simple to understand
What's not so great: a little too many questions

Last minute & painless

As a first-timer with Turbo Tax, I was startled with how fast & easy my filing was this year (as opposed to the usual 2-day calculation & checking process.) Thought it would take at least most of the day, but I was done in about 2 hours.
What I liked:
- The "hand-holding" along the way - Very friendly
- "Don't worry" confirmations reassure me that I'm on the right track
- The ever-present "back" button that assured me that I could fix mistakes without losing entered information
- Links with explanations all along the way, explaining what qualifies for certain credits, etc. Much more friendly than the IRS manual
- Simultaneous entry of information into the state form
- One click filing
- The feeling that I haven't missed any credits, refunds, or rules.

My experience with Turbo tax

I would and I have recommend Turbo Tax as a quick and an effective way to do your taxes. I will continue to use Turbo Tax. It has worked for me and for those whom I have recommended it too. They are very satisfied with it.
What's great about it: A good and quick way to do your taxes
What's not so great: Return reply for e-file state slow
