Great software. I use TurboTax every year and it fills out the information needed from previous year to the current tax year no sweat.
What's great about it: Easy to manipulate
What's not so great: Confusion when saving files

2012 TURBOTAX

Overall, TurboTax makes it simple to file Federal and State tax returns. The calculation are very helpful, and the review and audit check feature gives the taxpayer confidence that the returns have been reviewed by professionals.
Some of the explanations are not easy to understand by a lay person, but they normally do not apply to simple returns so it is not a big issue.
What's great about it: Calculations
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to understand
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using Turbo Tax for years and have found it to be a software program that makes filing taxes beareable. I have recommended to family and friends
What's great about it: Explanations are written in a very understandable English and not in legaleze.

Very good product. It is good to see how the tax forms work hands on and much more affordable thank paying someone to do it.
What's great about it: Simple instructions and easy to follow
What's not so great: Going between the forms and the step by step could be tricky and sometimes resulted in double entries that I had to fix

Not Quick but Idiot-Proof

What's not so great: Charitable donation screen also returns to top instead of where I left off.

Very easy to use even for non computer folks. I could work on taxes during the day or night for 15 minutess or an hour. No trips and waiting at the mini mall for big name tax outfits.
What's great about it: Ease of use and detailed
What's not so great: Nothing I can think of!
