It was just as easy as they advertise it to be.

Overall a great experience, I will be using TURBOTAX next year as well.
What's great about it: The step by step questions they ask are easy to understand
What's not so great: I wish they had an option to pay state owed taxes without having to mail in a check

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 5 years. It is user friendly and walks you through every step. Love it!!!!!

Easier than old manual process

The program still assumes the user is totally familiar with the U,S. and state tax codes. Needs to have more detailed explanations of the codes.
What's great about it: Fast and accurate
What's not so great: E Filing process for state could be easier

Almost perfect

Will continue to use Turbo Tax, but hit a snag this year with the download process for my CA state return. Finally got it working within 24 hours of starting my Federal return.
What's great about it: Very easy to follow instructions
What's not so great: Very hard time downloading CA state return

Surprised by a couple glitches

I was surprised this year that there were 2 technical glitches for me:
1. kept looping after downloading state
2. kept timing out when I put in new password for payment to e-file. Got around both, thankfully, but hope for remedy next year. Thanks!

Hard to beat.

Love Turbo Tax. This time, I had to talk to an agent about a problem caused by a faulty disk. I could not have bee\n more impressed with her knowledge about the program and helpful attitude. She made me happy that I went with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Fast, easy to underestand and easy to set up.

OVERALL TURBO TAX IS AWESOME. i HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX SINCE MY UNCLE STARTED ME ON IT IN 1991. I USED TO SHARE HIS PROGRAM. NOW I USE MY OWN PROGRAM. SOME AREAS ARE CHALLENGING, BUT THE INSERTED INFORMATION HELPS. THANKS TURBO TAX
What's great about it: DETAILED DEDUCTIONS
What's not so great: UNCERTAIN WHERE SOME DEDUCTIONS GO ,HAD TO CHANGE A FEW ITEMS FOR INVESTMENT EXPENSES
