Turbo Tax; nothing is any easier!

What's great about it: Simple importation of last years info to this years returns! Good interface with the major payroll processors to retrie
What's not so great: Status check at end sometimes comes up with nonexistant errors.

This is the only way to file simple tax returns. I also use Quicken Essentials for Mac now, and miss the ability to download all years expenses from Quicken like i did from pc based Quicken. Please add this to Mac version and TurboTax will again be perfect!!!
What's great about it: carryforward of info is fantastic
What's not so great: had trouble with 1099-misc

Nice and Easy!

I really liked how easy all of the questions were that stepped me through the filing process. I especially liked the Schedule A questions that helped me get the maximum deductions for our home office that my husband works out of. It just asked questions that made it easy to get a deduction on the home office and all of my husband's home office expenses that we did not know to do last year using H & R Block Tax Software that I bought and have used for the past 7 years or so. I really did prefer using Turbo Tax Deluxe much better in general that H & R Block's Software.
What's great about it: Very easy to fill out and understand!
What's not so great: NONE!

Seemed more streamlined this year, thanks for that. Just stop asking about state taxes after i allready indicated I don't need to.
What's great about it: nice and quick
What's not so great: when filing in a state like florida with no state taxes withheld stop asking me about it at the end!

This program helps you file your taxes. It's less confusing than IRS paper forms. Still requires a lot of input, probably not TT's fault.
What's great about it: taxes filed quickly
What's not so great: lots of input

I had a hard time trying to have Turbo Tax understand that I lived in Connecticut most of 2012. We sold our house in December and moved to Florida in January of 2013.
What's great about it: transferring of information from 1 year to the next
What's not so great: tubo tax wasn't sure where I live
