Not easy to navigate with itemized deductions

The only thing I wasn't happy about were the itemized deductions because it was difficult to find. It kept saying that I wasn't using itemized but I wanted to and it would not show me a link to get there. There should be a button that asks you if you would like to do that. It wasted a lot of time to be able to find where it was hidden.
What's great about it: overall saved me the pain of doing it myself
What's not so great: there is no label for itemized deductions

State wouldn't allow e-signature. Said it would print out the page I needed to sign and I would have to mail it at the end. It never did!!!!

What's great about it: transfers last years, quick and easy
What's not so great: did not help me pick winning lotto numbers

good product. have used it several years did have one problem with a return a few years ago which we filed using turbo tax and ended up owing irs more than the orrig. calculation. program is easy enough. but it would be nice to compare as you go where each answer is included and compiled on the return either by showing a copy of the booklet that the irs puts out or by showing a copy of the form itself where everything is entered
What's great about it: program is easy enough and pretty self explaining
What's not so great: would be nice to actually see a copy of the retturn booklet and each form as you go along

Really easy to use. Accurate. I just wish you could see married joint vs separate easily.

Uncomplicating a complicated and tedious operation

A very competent program which I have used for years without any concern for accuracy.
Structured for the first-time user, the program lacks some indexing capability; Need to provide the ability to go to a given page with ease instead of having to answer the same questions over and over.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Need to provide for going directly to a giv

As always, I love Turbo Tax..the step by step is so helpful....but, I seemed to have a harder time getting my info together and many categories seemed to change..I found myself re-reading and then re-reading again to make sure I was understanding correctly....I am sure this is more a reflection on me and my lack of organizational skills, as well as the many changes in tax laws, etc...
What's great about it: love the step by step guidance
What's not so great: seemed to be more laborious...

Have used TurboTax for years; never a problem!

Every year Intuit makes improvements that address very complex tax issues. After completing my tax return, I think TurboTax could not be easier, but Intuit finds surprising ways to make the TurboTax even better and easier to use or file. Since I live in Texas (no state income tax), I use the State Tax return to do what if I move to California, or Colorado, or wherever. TurboTax gives me an exact idea of how the move will effect my income taxes in a new state.
What's great about it: Simple to use; addresses most imaginable cases.
What's not so great: Lacks detailed explainations for some complex returns.
