great tax program but bummer on printing

Used this program several years. Have loved it all the way except Past two years not able to print part of state return, not all, just 1 page. Very frustrating problem with printing. Understand about e file for state costing but needs to be clear on advertising and outside of package that you need to pay to efile for state. no problem... just print and mail! NOT happening 2 years in a row.
What's great about it: EZ to use, walks you through program, can do several returns for family
What's not so great: 2 years in row not able to print a portion of the return: specifically part of the state. All else printed fine.

I think I know why you do this but it's annoying. When you use the first letter of the first name, instead of the full name, it is a problem for someone doing a family member's taxes whose initials are the same. I've been using turbo for a lot of years and I always have this problem. My names Robert and my son's name is Richard. SEE THE PROBLEM! It's really bad when you try to 'save' and it tells you that it's already saved, DO YOU WANT TO REPLACE IT. What to do? Thank You

Great Reliable Experience

I've successfully used Turbo Tax for over 7 years now. I have actually paid for local tax prep a couple of times and always Turbo Tax beats the refund the other guys have calculated. 23 years experience in Business Finance and Taxes and I LOVE Turbo Tax. Would recommend it to anyone!
What's great about it: Beats Local Tax Prep Refund Every Year
What's not so great: None!

Prepare tax returns mom

Have used Turbo tax for over 8 years and love it. Use it now for my kids as well just to keep everything together. Being able to prepare return and review and then make changes is simple.
What's great about it: being able to copy last years returns
What's not so great: can't think of anything I don't like. Sometimes terms are hard to understand but help usually helps

It would be very helpful to be able (on a split screen) or at the conclusion of entering data for a category to be able to actually see the tax form data you just entered.
With questions and data entry, you're responding but don't actually see the entries in a tax form format to be able to confirm the entries with no duplications/errors at the end of a section.
If I were completing the actual tax forms by hand, I would have all the detail in front of me and can easily review it and
make corrections at that point . Finding the entry after you've completed isn't always easy (ie adding 2013 tax payment from the total refund). I couldn't find a way to do it
other than going to forms and making the entry there.

What's great about it: Very detailed and complete & easy to use
What's not so great: Inability to see the tax return detail developing as you enter data; sometimes it causes duplicate entries and not easy

I've used Turbo Tax for years now. It makes filing taxes so much easier by helping me calculate everything, running error checks, and maximizes my deductions. I'll never switch!
What's great about it: Calculates everything, runs error check, and maximizes deduction
What's not so great: online version only allows for 1 filing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simple and Easy

Very nice user interfaces and easy to understand. I had a problem that turned out to be of my own doing, and a helpful agent managed to understand the problem and politely point out my error.
What's great about it: Concise, intuitive (and thus the name), helpful
