Turbo makes it easy!

Turbo has walked me through yet another year of doing the "dreaded taxes". It moves you through the process in an efficient manner that it's highly unlikely that you miss any deductions that you deserve. It literally "teaches" as you go along.
What's great about it: recommended actions

Makes taxes so much easier

I have been using for years and TurboTax makes doing my taxes so much easier than in the old days - I have no had issues
What's great about it: Handled multi-state well
What's not so great: Please remind me to offset gains with losses

A Very Complete Package

TurboTax software seems unusually well thought out for a general use product. Even tax professionals find it surprisingly sophisticated. Both the interview and forms functions are mostly intuitive and unfussy. Novices will find that the software doesn't abandon you to fend for yourself when the issues get complicated...the smart worksheets and other resources should help you work out how to proceed. Overall, a very good value and a highly developed product with ample help resources.
What's great about it: Comprehensive
What's not so great: The "sliding curtain" access to the forms menu can be a nuisance

Rock solid

I've used TurboTax for decades without a hitch. I trust it implicitly and haven't seriously considered using anything else, because as they say: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"
I don't have time to study all the tax laws each year and figure out what's changed and which apply to me. TurboTax leads me through the process painlessly and methodically.
My only (minor) complaints were that startup of the application was very slow and there was a crash when I first tried to pay for state e-file with a credit card. Restarting the app worked flawlessly, though, and I didn't lose any data.
What's great about it: Simple, straightforward, informative
What's not so great: Slow startup

New Tool for Me

While I have used TurboTax for many years, this is the first year I have used the import function. Unbelievably easy to use and what a time saver. Approximately 500 trades accurately inserted into the return in a matter of minutes. Unbelievable!

Such a great product! We used to send our taxes to an accountant, now, with Turbo Tax, it's very easy and quick to file our taxes and get our refunds (thru direct deposit)! And the fact it walks you through the whole process is awesome as well! A great idea!

Whew! Got 'em done!

Even having (almost) all the paperwork in front of me, there is a time and attitude commitment- It would be way better if I hadn't procrastinated! Oh yeah, having the computer hard drive crash when I tried to start it last week didn't help!
What's great about it: Easy to understand! Faster than the old fashioned way!
What's not so great: Still had to have to do it- still takes 3-4 hours
