Amazing Tax System - Finished 3 returns in minimal

TurboTax is an awesome tax preparing software. The way it walks you through the process and fills the forms in for you makes filing so much easier. I highly recommend this system for everyone.
What's great about it: Reads inportant data from previous years. This really saves time.

TurboTax does a very nice job as always, though I always seem to have a nagging feeling that we are missing something. Good job with the questions and help. The printing could still use some work.

2012 taxes

This is the first time I have done my taxes in years. It was so easy that I will notbe going to a professional anymore. It was also less expensive to buy the software and pay the cost to file my state tax form than if I had gone to a professional.
What's great about it: easy

turbo tax is the best tax expert you can have for the price you pay thanks for making it all possible
What's great about it: type in info and turbo takes over
What's not so great: cant type to well
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Good overall, but some questions were a little confusing if one is not a tax expert.
What's great about it: Summaries after each entry were helpful
What's not so great: It was difficult to go back and review everything because some questions defaulted to a different answer

Love the import feature !

I am tech savvy but have always liked the tradition of paper filing. Sort of like sitting down and reading a newspaper despite being able to get the information quicker with other media. Well, the time savings of electronic filing can't be beat and its nice not to have to triple check paper entries and calculations when the data import feature can do all that and so much quicker. I am a convert with my first Turbo Tax e-filing.
What's great about it: Import feature
What's not so great: none
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

I have been doing my families and my taxes for about ten years and I have never had problems.
What's great about it: It is easy to transfer personal info from previous tax return
What's not so great: Needs more explanations about ATM

Walked me through my perceived minefield

Overall it was great, a little snafu around owner of a business (but it revealed itself later in the process). Happily before I bought the upgrade that I didn't need. But, TurboTax took what I deemed a minefield of tax problems and helped me navigate through it.
What's great about it: I liked that it helped explain almost everything.
What's not so great: A little confusing around owning your own business - as opposed to being one of the owners of a business.
