Turbo Tax makes it easy to enter all your data and to review it as necessary. A lot faster than doing it by hand!

I sat down and completed my wife and I's taxes in about 2 hours. Easy to follow directions and it has the "slow guy" feature where I can ask questions of the community and get an honest answer.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step directions
What's not so great: None really

Over all good

I have used TurboTax for every return. Generally fast and easy to use. But it want me to answer questions I should have to based on my profile. Such as-- If I live in a state that does not income tax, Why is it asking me if I want to start my state return?
What's great about it: Fast guided preperation with electronic submital.
What's not so great: Drags through some unneceisary questions

Why did I wait so long . . .

This was my first time using Turbo Tax. I wish I had started using it years ago! I especially like that I can prepare and file my taxes without leaving my house.
What's great about it: Easy to use and understand; detailed to get the best refund.
What's not so great: Charitable contributions need more categories/options.

My only complaint this year is that I couldn't get my health insurance premiums to enter on line 29 without overriding and entering the value myself. I cant e-file with overridden values entered so had to mail. I am self employed with an S-corp and read some threads from the turbo tax experts on the help web page that suggested entering the insurance under wages and income section in the sch k1 for the s-corp. Other situations screen...check the box "I personally paid health insurance"...entered amounts..nothing happened. My accountant I use for my business assures me I can deduct this. Only problem I had..otherwise a great product as always.
What's great about it: easy to use and accurate
What's not so great: couldnt get my self employed heatlh insurance entered without overriding line 29 on sch 1040 and entering myself.

Cross-checking the different schedules and forms is difficult.
What's great about it: Made interdependent calculations for me.
What's not so great: Could not review worksheets side by side in floating windows.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love Turbotax

As someone who used to scour through all the instructions and forms, Turbo Tax makes all of what used to take hours and hours, and days of gathering, adding, and computing simple enough to complete your taxes even on a Friday evening after a long week at work.
I'm sold on Turbo Tax--fast, simple, convenient, and knowledgeable.
