K-1s and stock sales made simple

Basic info is transfered from last year's form so you don't have to enter it again. Carryovers from prior years are handled automatically. Many brokerage firms have set up an interface for TurboTax so you don't have to enter any of your security sale info. Just plug into the brokerage interface and all the data is loaded for you!
What's great about it: EASY to use
What's not so great: Some data entry for Oil & Gas K-1 partnerships take a bit of reading to figure out

It was fine until the end and I needed to upgrade the software...it was a pain to find.
What's great about it: Easy
What's not so great: hard to find the updates at the end of the program
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Awesome tax preparation

I found TurboTax very easy to use. Not having much knowledge and experience filing taxes, TurboTax lead me through the filing in a professional, easy format, providing help and explanations as I needed them. Love the filing format (electronic and mailing instructions). I ended up e-filing the Federal and mailing the State.
What's great about it: Easy to use with leaading questions
