I Love Turbo Tax

Makes tax filing possible

I love turbo tax, I use it every year. It makes filing my tax returns possible. It knows the laws and looks for deductions I didn't know existed. It makes dealing with mutual funds and stocks easy enough for me to prepare my return all in one night. Thank God for TurboTax!
What's great about it: prompts me for everything and walk me thru the return process
What's not so great: I can't think of a single thing

I have used Turbo Tax for over 10 years. As the years progress I have totally lost sight of the actual places all these entries are placed. Form names and titles, calculations (you doing them is fine, but I would like to see them). Maybe it is not important, since it is all electronic and there is nothing to see. However when I print it out, can I follow how you did my return.
I so much like the transferring more and more information from previous years. Also obtaining information electroniclly from employeers and financial institutions.

Always Easy To Use

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and always love how easy it is to use and how much I always learn about tax laws and issues during the process. The Easy Step is a great tool if you're unsure of what to report and, if you already know what you're doing or need to edit directly, you can go directly to forms. The community and lookup features are great resources.
What's great about it: Easy Step leads you through everything so you can determine which items you need to report.
What's not so great: Sure wish we could file the state return for free.

The overall program is getting better every year. I been using it for 20 plus years and I do not foresee using anything else.

Wouldn't Do Taxes Without

Overall, I love using Turbo Tax. I've used it the last several years. It makes doing my taxes easy! I also love how it imports information from the prior year into the next year! Anyone doing taxes should use Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax makes it easy to do my taxes
What's not so great: HSA for Wisconsin was a little confusing. Had to use online help.
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love Turbo Tax!

I have used Turbo Tax for 10+ years and each year it continues to get easier, even with all the tax changes. There is always support just a click away and it's great to see everyone else's questions as well, because there are always a few that you didn't think of. Turbo Tax has simplified my returns and always looked at the maximum refund I could get. Great prompts and questions to walk you through step by step.
What's great about it: Easy to use, step by step process, easy support access and carries info over from previous year
What's not so great: Would love to see more detail when figuring out what some of the deductions are whether common or not.
