User Friendly and Intuitive

A tremendous value. I used to have my taxes done for me and literally paid 10 times as much as the price of TurboTax. It was quick, easy, and painless.

While I am far from a computer guru, I find the program easy to follow, especially doing it a few years in a row.
Glad all the forms are electronically transmitted to both the
Federal and State governments which saves a lot of time.
No doubt I will keep using Turbo Tax.

Maximizing my refund for many years

We all have to do our taxes, but at least it's as straightforward as possible with TurboTax! I've been using TurboTax for nearly a decade. Recently, a CPA friend asked why, and I told her it was easy, and I was maximizing my refund. She doubted me, but reviewed a couple years for me, I think to prove that I was wrong. She was amazed at how well TurboTax handled some of my less-than-normal situations, and was unable to find any errors or places where I had missed deductions or credits. Score one for TurboTax!

I received my W2 early and wanted to file my taxes right away. I went through all of the pages and forms. Right when I was finishing up, I was stopped by Turbo Tax window popping up saying the forms were not ready, They would let me know when they were ready to view. Checked my email an hour later and received emails saying forms were ready. I consequently received four email saying the forms were ready but when I clicked to finish online, it told me again, not ready. I finally called and talked to support. She told me the forms wouldn't be ready until the 23rd of January. Why didn't they mention this before? I like Turbo Tax but I was a little unhappy with this years return help.
What's great about it: easy to understand
