Fast and Easy Filing

I have been using Turbotax for as long as I can remember. It gets easier every year making a very annoying and despised task as painless as possible. I highly recommend the product and swear by it. If you are organized and keep decent records, it is a breeze.
What's great about it: Simple and easy interview process

Excellent tool!

I've always gone to tax preparation office to do my taxes. this year I've decided to do it myself with TurboTax. It was the right choice. I didn't know tax preparation can be so easy and quick. You can take your time and think about all the possible deductions without having a feeling that you're wasting someone's time when you take an extra minute to dig in your memory for what you can possible use to help you with last year's taxes.

Good Refund but Mixed feelings on software

I have used turbotax for 3 years now and I have to say this year was not as good as it was the last 2 years. I was trying to pull my info from last year and it wouldn't import to the software presumably because I bought it from a retailer rather than straight from turboTax it also said it would automatically deduct fees from buying the software from taxes ( since I used it last year) but it did not. I also had to fill it out twice because I choose to get the disc since there was almost a $20 difference in price when I went to pay for it online. I will probably use it again next year since my previous experiences were good and my tax return was almost $500 more than I thought it would be, but if I have the same problems next year I will probably try something different.
What's great about it: Easy to use, Cheaper than going to a professional
What's not so great: Difficult to access previouse years information
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

EASY EASY EASY to complete return

I have used Turbo tax for years...One year went with Tax Cut (on sale)...hated it.....went right back to Turbo Tax.
Never plan on using any other tax prep software...Very happy with Turbo Tax

Easy Peasy

My taxes were rather simple. No stock or home sales. No huge life changes. This made moving through the steps rather simple. I also like that I can see what happened with my previous years return next to the current year.
Only area I had a little challenge understanding was on the HSA portion. It asked for info about employer deposits in 2013 for 2012 or in 2012 for 2011. That was hard to determine.
What's great about it: Guided process - love the step by step
What's not so great: I hope there are none!

Great software that is easy to understand

I use Turbotax because it makes the tax filing experience far more satisfying than using the Federal 1040 forms.
What's great about it: The software is easy to understand and provides great explanations.

Whew! I was afraid I owed money!

I have been using Turbo Tax for nearly 20 years now and it just keeps getting better and easier to use. Really glad that it was so complete last year and this year -- saved me a BIG potential tax bill!
