easy guided program

overall great product; easy to follow; I ended up having to pay which was a surprise. I wish the program could analyze why as oppossed to last year when we received a large refund.
What's great about it: easy to understand/guides you through everything
What's not so great: didnt always answer my questions

It makes doing taxes feel like so much less of a chore, and you don't have to worry about your math.

I have used Turbo Tax since 2008 and have been very pleased with the product. It is easy to use and addresses all my tax filings needs.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax is really easy to use.
What's not so great: None.

Simple Dimple!

For several years I have always used Turbo Tax online, which is completely awesome and super easy to use. This was my first year I purchased the software at the store. Again---beyond easy! AND, with the software you get to file up to 5 returns! Turbo Tax does all the thinking for you and guides you through everything to determine if you are eligible for certain expenses or deductions. I plan to continue using Turbo Tax for many years to come. I even have most of my other family members using it now as well. I HIGHLY recommend it!
What's great about it: Easy fill in the blanks that guide you every step of the way.
What's not so great: I was charged for my State taxes when it was suppose to be included.

Good for the average folk

I believe the flow is very logical and very good for the average tax preparer. May still be intimidating for the novice only because some of the questions still beg other questions, but not sure how you get around that.
What's great about it: Logical, step by step instruction
What's not so great: Fee for e-filing
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TurboTax was easy to use and when I had questions I was able to find the answers easily. This is the software I use every year to fill out my taxes.
What's great about it: I was easily guided through to file my taxes
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
