Made my life easy

It's a great tool and catches things that I would not think of, or even try to see if the deduction could be taken.
What's great about it: The information requested went in similar order to the hard copy, which made my input easy
What's not so great: It doesn't refer to sections of either W-2s to find amounts or provide examples like the written booklet did.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax was very easy to install and get updates. Entering information for the return was simple and explanations were helpful on several items I had.
What's great about it: Ease of preparation of return
What's not so great: I have no items that I would say need fixing

What's great about it: simple, federal filing is free :)
What's not so great: have to pay for state filing :(

Turbo Tax Review

I hav't done my taxes for several years, someone else did them. But I wanted to start doing them myself so I purchased the Turbo Tax CD and Started. Didn't have a clue, but the farther I went the easier it got. I am glad now and will never have someone else do my taxes again.

I've used Turbo Tax now for several years and feel more confident using it than paying someone to file for me.
What's great about it: ease of navigating through each section
What's not so great: program didnt import all of the info from federal to the state return correctly

Have been using Turbo Tax for a very long time. Some improvements are good: the help pages and K-1 entry screens are greatly improved through the years. But there is WAY TOO MUCH information on each screen. Keep it simple and straight forward, in a logical order. Doing taxes is not Facebook or a Google search, less shiny pennies and stay focus on keeping it straight forward.
What's great about it: Good help explaination pages. The K-1 entry screens are greatly improved.
What's not so great: Felt like TT takes you all over the place to get to the final result.
