Best for limited complexity

I've used TurboTax for years with much success. This year, I had a few unusual items that I found a bit more difficult to enter than usual. IRS guidelines seemed straightforward, but questions and forms on TT didn't initially match up. Given the odd circumstances I encountered on ONLY this one item, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend TT to others (and have done so successfully in the past).
What's great about it: Choice to lead or be led
What's not so great: A few areas don't jive with IRS forms

Never thought it would be so easy!

This was my first time using TurboTax and never expected how easy it would be. Each page was very simple to follow and had links to answer any kind of question that I would have. The instructions were easy to follow and in one night I was completely done! Thank you TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy to understand, quick, loved the automated process
What's not so great: None, helpful hints throughout every page
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I recommended this to my cousin and sister and both used this for 2012 returns. it makes sense and is affordable and can be done from home!!! if i didnt understand something i could hit learn more and was given great explanations! i didnt have to call anyone or look up on the IRS page. makes is simple even if we had to pay this year!!!
What's great about it: Saved my forms from last year and transferred everything immediately! It walks me through each step!!!
What's not so great: None!!!

Easy to use for the most part

For the most part very easy to use. Some of the language is confusing, but with time and looking at all the explanations I rate it 4 stars. The use of the bullets drew the eyes right where they needed to be.
What's great about it: I liked the use of the bullets - it drew the eye where it needed

Very friendly step-by-step guidance; very thorough; good explanations of items along the way; data (both personal and financial) can be readlly imported from previous TurboTax returns and financial institutions; constant display of tax liability at each section; reasonably priced (esp. through warehouse locations); back-up is available if needed or desired; e-filing is most convenient and timely.
What's great about it: Simple; clear; thorough; user friendly
