Excellent, easy to use program.
Wish there was a better question and answer search engine to help with some of the more off the wall deductions.

The step by step directions and follow up questions and rechecks really made me feel confident that we had done it all correctly.
What's great about it: Great program. Easy to use. Easy to navigate.
What's not so great: Didn't find a single thing not to like.

For over twenty years I have used Turbo Tax and felt comfortable about using the program. I find it very friendly. I told my friends and family it is a most have.
What's great about it: Without second guessing I know I can Turbo Tax have directed me in the right direction for so many year.
What's not so great: I would like a bit more help without paying more.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I liked in the past where you could easily see more detail from previous year's return. For example, I would like to see what each entry was in charitable deductions for previous year.
What's not so great: Help section. Ask community is a waste of time and space.
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've use TurboTax exclusively since 1994 for both personal and business returns and it's never failed to impress me. The US tax code is ridiculous. I don't know how I would do it without TT.

Actually I started on Friday and had to wait till Monday to get responses to questions (not from TT - but outside contacts) Had a short period on disability and didn't know what to do. but everything turned out to be for the better. I will use Turbo Tax next year and I continue to recommend it to my friends. I used to have my taxes done by "professionals" but now doing it myself with Turbo Tax makes me really smile at my returns. I always knew I wasn't getting back what I should but now I know I do. :-)
What's great about it: turbotax is super easy
What's not so great: It took more time this year - 3 whole days !!

Difficult Experience

This year's Turbo Tax asked questions that it should already have from transferring the tax returns from previous years. It asked for vehicle information on date purchased, purchase price, etc. and this information was entered in the year the vehicle was purchased and placed in service so I had to get in the attic and find previous years tax return files to get information that I already entered in Turbo Tax in previous years. It also seemed to ask different questions concerning business use of vehicles and was very restrictive in the type of answers it allowed. Also when it checked for updates and then downloaded those updates, it says restarting Turbo Tax, but it doesn't, it goes back to the Windows desktop screen and I have to start Turbo Tax again and it wants to check for updates again.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax knows what forms to use
What's not so great: Turbo Tax asked questions this year that it should already know
