Makes tax anxiety less and the dread of doing it too.
Like that you can 1.take your time
2.return to complete info
3.save your forms as pdf's
4. easily file on line, or print to mail.
This is your taxes done simply, affordably and unhassled!

Love Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax makes submitting taxes easy as it allows imports from previous years which tremendously reduces data entry! The year-to-year comparisons let you know if you are on track with what you did last year and highlights the changes that have occurred.
What's great about it: Imported data from previous year

EXCELLENT REDERAL TAX PROGRAM PAST YEARS BETTER

2012 TURBO TAX STILL IS EXCELLET FEDERAL TAX PROGRAM BUT QUALITY DECREASED SLIGHTLY FROM PRVIOUS YEARS. CASE IN POINT A PROBLEM WAS INCOUNTERED IN SECTION DETAILING STATE SALES TAX DEDUCTIONS. I USE CREDIT CARD BUT WIFE LIKE TO WRITE A CHECK SO ABOUT 90 PER CENT OF OUR PURCHASES ARE BY CREDIT CARD SO I CAN PICK OFF PURCHASES FROM CARD STATEMENT AND HAVE SALES TAX OF ABOUT 85 TO 90 PERCENT WITHOUT HAVING TO KEEP UP WITH TINY RECEIPTS EVERY TIME WE PURCHASE. IN 2012 WE MADE A MAJOR PURCHASE OF A NEW CAR AND SALES TAX WAS $2,072.07. i TRIED TO USE GUIDE ME AND INPUT MAJOR PURCHASE BUT PROGRAM WOULD KICK OUT SALES RECEIPS PURCHASES WHICH WAS MORE THAN STANDARD DEDUCTIONS SO I HAD TO "WORK AROUND AND IGNORE :MAJOR PURCHASE AND COUNT MAJOR PURCHASE AS JUST ANOTHER PURCHASE AND ADD IN AS SALES RECEIPT. I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE HAD SELF INPUT AS FROM SALES RECEIPT THE LARGER FIGURE AND THEN ADDITIONAL ENTRY A MAJOR PURCHASE THEN A TOTAL RATHER THAN PROGRAM LUMPING THEM ALL TOGETHER AS ONE FIGURE. BUT MINOR INCONVIENCE ONCE I FIGURED I HAD TO OVER-RIDE THE PROGRAM.
What's great about it: FANTASTIC INPUT PROCESS TO LEAD STEP BY STEP IN MOST CASES
What's not so great: ONE SECTION HAS MINOR PROBLEM TO WORK AROUND

When processing the 1099 Misc form there were problems. It was hard to determine my status. There was no clear explanation of how an elected official who recieves a stipend to offset expenses performing the duties of the elected position would report the income. There needs to be a clear explanation from the IRS or from TurboTax how to do this.
What's great about it: Almost everything
What's not so great: 1099 Miscellaneous info left a lot to be desired

TurboTax 2012 Review

I recommend this product because its much faster and easier then doing it by hand. I used to do my taxes myself but last year I tried TurboTax and it saved me a lot of time and effort.
I'm sure I will use it again next year.
I liked that I could stop and start where I left off.

What's great about it: No Calculations to worry about, Easy Data Entry, Confident its correct
What's not so great: Had to re-enter some information into turbotax that I entered last year.

Very easy to use. Only thing I don't like is not having the actual forms always there as you work.
