I love the the ease of the program. They make it really easy to do your taxes, all you have to do is follow what they tell you to put and then does all the work for you. Makes doing your taxes and easier and better experience
What's great about it: It was easy to follow and easy to get through. It told me what I needed and did the work for me
What's not so great: Had a little bit of an issue when it came to the payment section, nothing I couldn't handle though

The walk-thru and help functions were superb at taking a novice through the process. The ability to import from other forms and previous years taxes a real bonus. Would highly reccomend.
What's great about it: Walkthrough clear, help function with questions exceptional

Happy with TurboTax

I don't have a real complicated tax situation, but every year it seems something happens that impacts my tax preparation that I haven't seen before, or that I don't remember how to handle (e.g. kid gets a scholarship, sale of property or financial asset, etc). I'm not tax savvy, but I don't have to be because the TurboTax people are. When I'm done with the tax preparation process I'm confident that the return is accurate and that I've made a good faith effort to report everything. The audit risk indicator is a nice touch that gives me some peace of mind.
What's great about it: It takes you step by step through the process

Good Software

I've worked in an accounting office many years and have since retired. I found software to be easy to follow whether using your guided interviews or when I put everything in solo. Thanks for your product. I filed all our families tax returns and all went through promptly and without errors or delays. Your review questions made me feel you had many safety prompts in place.
What's great about it: Easy to follow or go on my own. Lots of double checks in place
What's not so great: Didn't find were to put farm CRP and cash rent on same form, but two forms worked okay

Every year I dread doing this task of filing taxes! Turbo Tax makes it easy to understand and has a backup plan in case I get audited for way less than the cost of an accountant or CPA! Each year it seems to be getting easier and easier...I should file sooner and get my tax return sooner!
What's great about it: Some figures are carried over from last year; convenient!
What's not so great: None really that I could detect, still have to be prepared with supporting docs!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
