Taxes filed for another year

This year was the first time I lived in a different state than my wife and I filed a married filing joint return and Turbo Tax understood my tax situation and figured out all the forms and questions to ask me in order to file the Federal and State returns properly. Thank you Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, and accurate
What's not so great: charges to e-file my state return

Reliable

I have used TurboTax for several years now and don't even consider any other product.
I trust the results (and usually pleasantly surprised that there is a deduction that I hadn't thought about)
The only thing that could be improved on: easier, or more direct access to IRS pubs (unless I just didn't see it)

Better every year!

I recommend Turbo Tax to people I work with. They are self employed and mostly new in their careers. I explain that they will save money; have a comprehensive "interview" without beat missed. Also doing at your own pace and trusting all of the information input.
What's great about it: Program gets more intuitive every year!

TurboTax gets better, year after year. This is my 4th (or maybe my 5th) year using this software. They have gotten to the point that they anticipate the most frequently asked questions, print them in blue, and answer them in the link.
I only had to use the internet to answer a few questions on HSA and IRA eligibility.
Major improvements in the State return software. So much so that I'm wondering if I should look at my returns from past years to see if I should re-file.
Just need the opportunity to print out only the state return, and this experience would be pretty close to perfect.
What's great about it: Precise questions with yes/no answers
What's not so great: Very little room for improvement

Not much more to say than my pros, this system is cost effective, easy to navigate through & leaves me with a secure feeling that my returns are complete and accurate.

Easy Come, Easy Go

The older versions were easier to follow. That meant fewer questions. I would prefer to have a tax expert rather than those who were not professional tax experts answering tax questions. Unfortunately, for me, the community was not very helpful.
What's great about it: Most sections were easy to understand
What's not so great: Some explanations were difficult to understand. Pay teachers to check your grammar and spelling.

Makes Filing Easy

Everyone hates to do their taxes. While Turbotax doesn't make it fun, it allows a person to complete their taxes with as little pain as possible. Walking through each step ensures that nothing is missed and the downloads makes the interest and dividend process input error free.
What's great about it: TurboTax walks you through the process.
