Soooooo Easy

I love Turbo Tax. I have used Turbo Tax for so many years I can't remember how long. I trust Turbo Tax in helping me do my taxes completely and reliably. I wouldn't use anything else. I have referred this tax program to all my friends and co workers.
What's great about it: Ease of use
What's not so great: Nothing

Difficult to enter K-1 information

It is very difficult to enter K-1 limited partnership information into TurboTax. The informaion supplied to partners is not consistent across partnerships and is not consistent with Turbotax step by step data entry.
One must go to individual forms and enter data manually. The TurboTax forms often have links to other forms where data or additional data must be entered.
Entering K-1 data is near impossible. The partnership 'help' instructions are not a help.
Good luck filling the forms yourself. I expect professional tax preparers take shortcuts and skip certain data entry steps.
Limited partnerships are popular as an asset that provides high income in 2013. It is too much to hope that the IRS would simplify matters.
It would be nice if TurboTax and the other tax software vendors would assist these partnerships with an electronic data transfer to automatically populate the requisite forms.

Very Easy

Turbo Tax is a great program that is easy to use and quick. We use it every year.
What's great about it: Step by step easy to use
What's not so great: didn't get a refund..darn
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used TurboTax for maybe 15 years or more. Its gets better every year.

Pretty darn easy!

Process seemed a bit awkward when electing to e-file Federal return and mail state (MN). MN didn't allow e-file if late 1040ES payment was included. Window warned me of this but didn't follow through by continuing to a page giving me options. Just kept recycling message about no E-file available for state return.
What's great about it: Step-by-step, all-inclusive
What's not so great: A bit of a problem when filing state with late payment penalty
Pros: I bought or sold investments
