I think Turbo Tax is the very best.
What's great about it: Love Turbo Tax. I have used it since 2007. I use to do tax returns for my son, daughter and grandson.

Only 1 question: Why haven't you gotten it already

I'm a long-time user who only sees it getting better & better!
What's great about it: Ask all the right questions; incl. All kinds of income to any investments. Never missed anything!
What's not so great: Can't think of one... Even e-Filing to New York State was FREE this year so I didn't have to print & mail anything!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

TurboTax is easy to use. If you are unsure just type in the help your question and the answers are right there. Awesome overall.

Ten year user!

I have used Turbo Tax for more than 10 years. We complete the 1040 and my husband even owns a part of a company and it is easy to walk through the process to enter the K-1 information. This year I had more issues due to inheriting property that was then sold and could have used more help with figuring out the transaction and capital gain/loss. Overall, I love using Turbo Tax and usually get my refunds quickly.
What's great about it: Easy to use, navigate where ever you need to with a click
What's not so great: More help with unusual tax issues (inheritance, etc.)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Great tool for quick and accurate results
Year over year forwarding of information is outstanding.
Only suggestion is to allow 2 free State downloads

Excellent Product

Alaska does not have a state sales tax, but some towns have sales taxes, but they are not all the same percentage. Therefore, the Sales tax part seems laborious. Also if you travel and go to other states with sales tax, the process tends to be tedious.
What's great about it: Ability to auto ask info or do it yourself
What's not so great: Some data is not as easy to edit as others
