Enjoyed using this product and will use it again.
What's great about it: Takes you step by step thru the entire process. It lets you know if you did not enter something correctly.

2012 taxes

I've used the product for a number of years. There are some things I might like to see done differently, but definitely wouldn't want a redesign for the sake of redesign -- bane of American business!
What's great about it: straightforward
What's not so great: getting to answers could be easier.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I like that the program prepares the state return. I would appreciate it if I could see the state forms and find out where the numbers in the form come from.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Questions make sense.
What's not so great: Lack of insight into state return numbers.

EASIEST TO DEAL WITH COMPLEXITIES OF TAX CODES

What we have here is a simplified way of dealing with our annual April 15th holiday.
I don't think I would be able to do this the old fashioned way

Well worth the money and Premium got me thru just fine without upgrading.
What's great about it: Thorough walkthru on filing my taxes
What's not so great: the number of times I had to go over the same stuff to restart my tax return

Nice and Easy

It was an excellent service, well worth the price. Initially, they had an upfront cost to even use the software, then there's the state fee and the processing charge, so all in all, the cost of this program has gone up from previous years.
Regardless of this drawback, the software was quick, helpful, and useful. I will use it again next year.
What's great about it: Made it simple, kept it clear, and especially hassle free.
What's not so great: Processing fee

My wife passed away earlier this year. She was the financial person in the family, so I really dreaded doing this years taxes. While not easy, TurboTax helped guide me through the process with no mistakes. I am extremely grateful.
What's great about it: Helped to guide me step by step and explain problems
What's not so great: I was uncomfortable with the import process, input everything manually.

Easy do-it-yourself tax program

I would like to go to the tax return form and just enter the numbers on the tax return lines and not have to click through the various stages in the program.
What's great about it: Everything I need to do my own taxes
What's not so great: Wish I did not have to pay for an additional state.
