Great everytime !!

I have been using Turbo Tax for 15 years never a problem always a return. Very easy will use nothing else.
What's great about it: very easy step by steps cant miss... :)

Great program and easy to use, but need better sales reporting for Stock Options (Calls and Puts) transactions.

2012 Taxes

I always wait until the last moment to start my taxes...not because I hate the process (well maybe a little) but because I know how easy it is when I use Turbo Tax. The program walks you through each area and you complete those items applicable to your circumstances. So I know it will be quick. This time it took me less than an hour to complete and file. I selected the e-file but unfortunately decided to mail in taxes owed instead of using credit card option. I was not willing to pay an additional 2.9% on top of what I owed in taxes...
What's great about it: Easy to follow along and complete. Makes the process of filing taxes tolerable.
What's not so great: Service fee of 2.9% if using your credit card to pay taxes owed. Had to send a check through the mail.

I like the ease of use most. Taxes are often confusing if done by hand . Turbotax makes it easy to enter your data, show and guides you through the whole process.
Efile is the way to go.
I used the turbotax advise contact number this year., First time to use this service for a very important question I had
while doing my taxes. The contact provided a super solution which allowed me to complete my taxes.

What's great about it: I like the year to year import of personal information, speeds up the part of the return. The ease of use to input data
What's not so great: Deluxe version please provide at least 2 included state forms
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Love Turbo Tax

Using Turbo Tax makes doing taxes almost fun. Even my CPA expresses confidence in the accuracy of a Turbo Tax return. Hate how many pages print when you select to print return.
What's great about it: Love getting the info from prior years
What's not so great: Would be nice if curser didn't have to be moved to advance page. Nice if so many pages didn't print.

Love Turbotax, been using it since on 5 1/4 disks (long time)
Switched once to HRB good program but I didn't l;ike the format.and Turbotax did some calculations HRB didn't and I needed those calculations.

Fast and Easy!

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years but because of a screw-up by the IRS last year, I used a tax preparer for 2011. She saved me from making a mistake. I returned to Turbo Tax this year in order to save $40.(I am on a fixed income) and because I have always had a good experience in the past. I did again this year!
What's great about it: Since mine is a simple return which has a lot of information to enter it is a quick and economical way to file.
What's not so great: I saw the advetixements and thought I could talk to a person if I wanted to. Wrong.

Good Tax Package

Had to call my financial institution to determine what to use for sign-on and the password......then it was easy.
What's great about it: Like the comparisons to last year to spot areas that may need further review or understanding of differences.
What's not so great: Not able to intuitively download data from Financial institution.
