I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I had no experience filing taxes when I used it the first time and found it very user friendly and accurate.
What's great about it: I feel like all of my bases are covered when I use Turbo tax and don't worry that I will overlook something.
What's not so great: It was a little difficult to backtrack to find something that I didn't completely fill out the first time I entered info

Great product ... I have been using it year after year ... since dirt was invented.
What's great about it: Makes the Tax time so sane and easy! smooth guidance right to the end.
What's not so great: Entry formats change ... such as how medical was grouped ...

Turbo Tax 2012

I have used Turbo Tax since it was available. I like the security of doing my own taxes instead of turning over sensitive information to someone else. Easy, easy, easy. Love the walk through. Feel that by using Turbo Tax, I am putting myself at a lower risk for audit since all issues are addressed. Would never have known half of the deductions that I could take if it were not for Turbo Tax constantly giving me the best shot for the biggest return. I am not only doing my husband and my taxes, but also showing my children how they can use Turbo Tax to do theirs. Thanks.
What's great about it: Walk through and constant tax updates
What's not so great: Extra cost of filing the state form through efile

TurboTax and ItsDeductible!

Thank you TurboTax for a great, user friendly product. I donate a lot of goods during the year. I itemize everything and receive receipts for my donations. I have used ItsDeductible for 2 years and it makes it so-o easy to determine the value of the items I donate.
I previously used the donation value guide that Salvation Army provided but I much prefer ItsDeductible. And then to have all the places I donated to the previous year show up, all filled out, in TurboTax ... .
Wonderful!
What's great about it: Love auto fill with last year's information. Really helped with charitable deductions. ItsDeductible very helpful too!
What's not so great: Didn't care for the photos of various tax people. Found them distracting.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
