Saved me brain cells!

I used to do all our taxess BY HAND - even the arithmetic and collecting all those forms and publications from the public library! I even bought guide books for tax season. Imagine how TT has enabled me to bake more cookies, read books for pleasusre, stay mo0re organized, ,and save me all that running around town including having to stand in line at the post office and pay extra for certified mail. My house is tidier too since I do not have hard copy forms floating around in every room!
What's great about it: TT puts entries where they belong just by asking interview questions!
What's not so great: There must be an accessible way to change my email!

Another Year Another Refund

Used Turbo Tax every year since 2007 and will continue to use it for years to come.
What's great about it: Used Turbo Tax for years and the importing of info from prior returns is a great time saver.
What's not so great: Only thing I don't like is the size of the font - my vision isn't the best and some of the info can be difficult to read

If I wanted to see the reg's. published by the IRS only the general routes to booklets was offered. I would like to see page, paragraph and numbers of the relevant publications available.
What's great about it: All things required well worked out.
What's not so great: Route to IRS reg's not short-cut.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Mostly Excellent, with a Few Kinks

I love Turbo Tax and I've been using it for the last ten or so years. I consistently have good experiences with it, and I've found the Guide Me mode straightforward and most useful, even though I'm pretty familiar with the product by now.
There is only one issue I have with this program, and I've had it literally every year I've used it. During the analysis stage, after I've filled in all the information and Turbo Tax checks for errors, it always seems to come back with at least one error that makes no sense to me and that I have no clue how to fix. It doesn't help to be reprimanded with a "You Must Fix This Error" when it doesn't explain the error in detail, and it came about from program's own interview. I've resigned myself to having to research the problem and figure out the solution on my own, which is time consuming. Even so, it's less annoying than doing my taxes myself, so I consider this a minor annoyance.
Overall, I rate this program highly and I recommend it.
What's great about it: Easy to use

Overall the program is excellent, but during review and dealing with checking and errors, I found it less easy than previous years to find some sources of data, the program tended to cite rules rather than finding the actual numerical source and location. For the first time, I used the live help option, where a version of my return is created (edited to omit all personal data) and that the TurboTax helper could move around in. This was very helpful, the helper was very patient and skilled, and by looking at the edited version and was able to ask me the right questions and eliminated all the frustrating errors.
What's great about it: I have used TurboTax for decades
What's not so great: Tougher than 2010 find specific sources of data when checking
