Clear Guidance

The step by step guidance makes it easy for me to follow the process and the explainations are easy to understand. Plus, there are no math errors because the program does the addition and subtraction for you.

Easy to use

Have used TurboTax for several years & would use it again. I would like to be able to import financial data the way I did in the past.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, transfers data from last year

SAVED TIME THIS YEAR!

Even though I got a "late' start this year, Turbo Tax reminded me of all I needed to pull together and STILL FINISH in time to fle both federal and state returns 4 days before the deadline. WAY TO GO, "TURBO"!
What's great about it: (1) Imports entry items from prior year's return to remind of what to look for. (2) "Error Check" feature is superb!
What's not so great: Some software confusion in "sequence" of printing commands ... took extra time and paper!

I've been using turbo tax for several years now. Love the ease and simple well laid out process. Its so easy a 4th grader could do it =0)

My question had to do with impact of State Schedule K-1 forms.
Problem--the FAQs took quite a long time to find anything similar to my situation.
I received a Schedule K-1 (1041) for Fed taxes and a K-1-T for IL from my Fiduciary. This was the first time in 8 years any distribution had been received with AZ as my residence (2004). At first I breezed through the State questionaire and then began to wonder what the impact of paying taxes on Income that was also taxed by Illinois. It took me some time going through the answers to find a similar situation. Then it became clear (more or less) that Turbo Tax had already accounted for the IL income and taxes paid on the AZ form.

Wouldn't do taxes without TurboTax

I have used TurboTax for the last 11 years, and I wouldn't attempt my taxes without it. Makes a dreaded task much easier. I like the way you can evaluate the best way to maximize your "refund." I don't usually get one, but TurboTax lets me see what is my best way to file. I like using ItsDeductible to track my donations.
