Great program

The switching between step-by-step and explore on your own needs to be simplified. If you want to go into an edit area it takes several keystrokes to continue or go back even after you reviewed and / or made your changes.
AMT and AMTI is hard to follow. I could not figure out where to enter my prior year AMT tax paid

Great Product

I have been using turbo tax for years and I couldn't imagine doing my taxes any other way! Took my a half hour to file may taxes!

To continue the Con entry. After going to TurboTax help, I ended up finding a thread which showed me how to delete the above form (I should mention that I also called my broker to be sure that I wasn't missing something--I wasn't). After that, the 5 'problems' disappeared.
Your Help pages are not all that helpful.
In the end, when I wanted to print out my federal return so I could send it with a check, I had the very devil of a time doing it. I had to get a .pdf up and then print that instead of doing it directly.

Unfortunately, even though I have used TurboTax for years and years, I will reconsider using it next year.
What's great about it: quick download of 1099-div and 1099 from our broker
What's not so great: In final review, 7 'problems' were ID'd, 5 to do with info for a non-existent 1099-B

So Easy!

I love using this program year after year for our tax filing needs. It is easy to use. This certainly minimizes the pain and anxiety of doing your taxes. I can even wait until the last days before the filing deadline out of necessity, and not be afraid that I can get it done. Thanks to TurboTax!

Was questioned by the State last year on an item. Told them I used Turbo Tax and they told me not to worry it would be all right. No more letters or questions. Very pleased.
What's great about it: Didn't take long. You double checked me. Needed that.
What's not so great: Had to use my brain.

I have used TurboTax for over 10 yrs now. A large part of that as a Pastor. TT even understood the unique complexities of filing ministerial returns. Thank you, TT, for saving me a lot of time and money!!
