I have been using Turbotax for several years and it is a tool I value very much.
What's great about it: Transfer of last year's info
What's not so great: Initial difficulty in loading disk
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So easy to use. I have regular income, in two LLC's, sold timber and sold stocks. I have been using TurboTax for several years. The year to year transfer saved me a ton this year as I had carryover passive income losses that I would have missed if relying on memory. Great Product!!!
What's great about it: So easy to use and like year to year transfer

First time user of Turbo Tax. I was impressed with the detail of the program, guidance through arcane tax code provisions, and speed of the process. Will use it again.
What's great about it: concise, quick, comprehensive in area I don't understand

Great Help

Overall TurboTax is a wonderful tool to help with tax preparation. I've been a user for many years and will continue to do so. Our state allows certain deductions that are not allowed by the feds. I'm often not sure if these deductions are accurately entered on my state return if I choose the standard deduction on my federal return. Other than that I've been completely satisfied with Turbo Tax. It's a great product.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Like the step by step process.
What's not so great: Never quite sure whether the deductions allowed by the state, but not feds, are accurately entered.

Turbo Tax is a Super Hero

As I get older aand my investments and expenses get more and more complicated, Turbo Tax still asks the right questions and helps me put the correct information in the correct location, making sure I get the maximum refund that I deserve!
What's great about it: Helps me put bunch of very confusing information into the correct place!
What's not so great: Everytime I get inthe file, there are more updates!

2012 taxes

I was able to complete the tax forms very easily from the questions asked. I filled in the blanks and it was done. This is much more simple than the old way with a calculator. Loved it as taxes go.
What's great about it: The process went extremely well. It was easy to anwer the questions asked and get the job done.
What's not so great: The Feds kept saying my daughter's last name and SS number were wrong. Finally the accepted it.,
