I had a complex situation with a recharacterized IRA concersion and defered taxes. The expert nailed it very quickly and completely.
What's great about it: Ask an Expert and got a clear answer

Like the fact that you can get in and out of deductions and credits without going through the entire program...and that the adjustments happen immediately so that you can see the results...

First problem I have ever had

Attempted to down load Brokerage info directly for first time. Will not again. Info did not properly transfer causing a problem with State return even after correcting the Fed. return. State return was rejected 3 times, Fed accepted 1st try. Every attempt to satisfy the state failed. There needs to be a better way to correct state info.
I am otherwise very satisfied with Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Thoroughness
What's not so great: Transfer of Federal data to state

A loong slog!

Downloads for investment data is perfect. BUT, the program won't PRINT for me. I am using WORD 2007.
What's great about it: Full interview.
What's not so great: I can't get this program to print with WORD 2007. I survived with Screen shots.

I am not good with numbers, but Turbo Tax made it so easy to understand , and so easy to complete!! I have been using for 3 years and have always received my refund with no problems!!! Use Turbo Tax!!!!
