Great Product

I've been using Turbo Tax for years and it's easy to use, it takes your info from past years and puts it in the new one so you don't have to type all that info in again. The only bad part is it takes you thru so much that isn't related to my tax situation, so that takes a while to get thru. But I guess if it didn't you wouldn't get the most refund you can.
What's great about it: Easy To Use
What's not so great: Takes A While To Do

Easy, thorough, but sometimes geeky

Very easy.
In the Guide Reviews it sometimes asks same question again because of some unexpected values -- which is ok, because at least it is checking on your behalf.
When there is an "error" or "missing data" the review process shows you the geeky IRS forms (within TurboTax) rather than the Guide page that is related to the error. For most of us the IRS form is incomprehensible out of context like that. I'm sure they will address this in future.
What's great about it: Very easy and clear
What's not so great: Error Checks sometimes show you a geeky IRS form vice the relevant Guide page

I like the freedom of reviewing my tax situation and preparing the return with the help of TurboTax and help is always a click away!
What's great about it: Step by step instructions with lots of explanation as needed
What's not so great: it's taxes!

2012 Income Tax

It seems that TurboTax has made it much simpler to follow the step by step procedure while filling out the need forms. The amount of time I use to spend hunting and pecking to explain each step or choosing which forms I need has final been eliminated. The process is much faster and more accurate. I give Turbo/Tax an A+...
What's great about it: Fast and relative simple to fill in the blanks
What's not so great: Found a couple of snags during the Medical portion can be more spacific to help find the answers

I hate taxes!

I've used turbotax the last 5 years. Very helpful and simple. I will continually use your products.
What's great about it: Makes it very simple for me to show the individual/ itemized categories for me to focus on.
What's not so great: it doesn't do my taxes for me.
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
