Continues to meet expectations

I have used Turbo Tax several times and have always been pleased with how thorough the program is. Once you load it up the program updates and quickly gathers your information for the tax filing. I have confidence I am getting a good return.
What's great about it: Operates smoothly, big plus for ease of processing
What's not so great: I find the costs a little expensive, but if you want a good product sometimes you have to pay a little more.

Easiest method to file your tax returns

I'm an accountant and have used Turbo Tax to file all my tax returns for the past few years. It's quick, easy and gets the process done in little over an hour.
What's great about it: Guided and mistake free process

Some persistant systematic problems

My most major problem is completing the refund request to my liking. I want a part of the refund credited as an 2013 Estimyted Tax payment, with the balance as a deposit to our checking account (using line 75 of the 1040 form)..
There has been no direct method for this purpose. But I did manege to make this entry during the final review process, by forcling an entry into line 75 -- that did work finally!!
The same problem as ocurred for my New York State Tax
return when I wanted to apply a part of my refund to the 2013 NY State Estimated Tax.

Quick and Easy!

I always recommend Turbo Tax to all of my friends. I'm a CPA and before I charge my friends for tax services, I always encourage them to use Turbo Tax. Its quick, easy and cheaper for them.

Got it done in timely manner

Overall I had a good experience using Turbo Tax this year to file my taxes. I was able to get everything done from home which was really nice. When I had a question I was able to call the number the system gives and speak to a rep who was able to help me within minutes. I would use this system again.
What's great about it: Very straight forward and simple to use
What's not so great: paused half way through saying I needed to update their system
