Quick and Easy

Have been using Turbo Tax for years and it is the easiest and quickest way to file my taxes....Used another program once and it just wasn't a good experience..Keep rocking TurboTax

EASIEST TAX PROGRAM TO USE

I enjoyed the pogram because it takes through each and every of tax preparation and checks errors so you can fix them.
What's great about it: IT IS SO EASY TO USE

Good program gone bad

In 2010 it was discovered that TT duplicates medical insurance costs when a CSA 1099-R is entered. That STILL happens, and it has to be found and corrected manually--a time-consuming and error-prone process.
When a traditional IRA is disbursed to the owner, and then recharacaterized, TT doesn't allow you to file electronically. That is unforgivable.
What's great about it: Nice interface, large user community
What's not so great: Computational errors (CSA 1099-R medical duplicated STILL!); unable to file electronically

I have used turbo tax the last decade. It is reliable and fitting for my needs. I have tried out other tax software and no where near what intuit offers.
What's great about it: Easy guide, available resources, error check
What's not so great: often need to lower security settings in install sucessfully
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Why was I dreading that?

Turbo Tax made my 2012 filing experience a relief with fast, easy and accurate filing. I love that I was able to file electronically. Things that I might have considered complicated were simplified by the the direct Turbo Tax Process. Why was I dreading this so much?

Printing the return for my records was a pain back and forth and the back and still the state report hasn't printed
