Overall pleasant experience. Completed and filed my return in about ninety minutes. Expect to use Turbo-Tax again for 2013.

Product was exceptionally easy to use. Have used product for a number of years and feel this was by far the best edition put out yet.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate with excellent explanations

Any difficulty completing tax filing could be improved if IRS improves explanations and simplifies forms.
The ability to log in and log out of turbo tax is a great help as rest is needed after spending much time working on entering data.

I have used turbo tax for ten years. I have had only success and plan to use next year. Turbo tax ask more questions than a personal tax preparer; and that works better for me.

Great Program But

I have used Turbo tax since it first appeared in the stores. Always complete my own returns only paid once and felt I paid too much for what they did. Program is easy to use, complete, helpful and I trust it. Every year I do experience some problem which would be easily solved if I did my taxes earlier. I just do not like calling for help. My problem due to an emotional condition is I just want to understand the helpful hints. I recommend TT hire some people to read through each and every (help) for ease of understanding. Recently while doing my state tax (Arizona) I was told to check to see if I applied my 2011 tax refund to my 2012 taxes. Well I had to read and reread this until I said yes and that was wrong. Then I had to delete the state taxes and start over. Thank you I could delete them with ease.
What's great about it: Excellent Guide, Calculator, Allows you to stop and research items without losing your place. Easy to use.
What's not so great: Do not always understand helps written answers and sometimes leads you astray.

Turbo Tax help was able to help me with a question this year about a 1099. It saved us a couple of thousand dollars, because they told me how list it and then exclude it. I was so grateful. Even my attorney did not know how to list it on my tax forms. Thank you Turbo Tax!

2013 Fed + NY Returns

I have done my Tax Return manually for many years, and it was very cumbersome. Turbo Tax simplifies the whole procedure, and the transfer of info to the State Return is brilliant. In addition, since I have my Previous years Info, I can transfer that too and it saves a lot of repetitive typing. I have highly recommend Turbo Tax to many friends and relatives. Keep adding innovations each year, where you find a need. Turbo Tax has made what used to be a chore, a stress free activity which has to be done.
What's great about it: I have been using the product for several years now, and it is Great!
What's not so great: When I re-open a return, it should go to where I left off.
