Confidence in Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for many years, but wanted to be sure I wasn't missing something important either exposing me to audit risk or not maximizing my refund, so I went to an accountant. I decided to use Turbo Tax simultaneously and came up with the same refund amount as the accountant. We were within pennies! Too bad the accountant was so expensive, but now I have complete confidence in Turbo Tax.

i was glad for all the help i recived when i finly got the phone number the tec was very nice and helpful i have been useing turbotax for quit a few years now and will use agin

Getting very annoyed, should have one free state filing; because I live in Washington state and work in Oregon, I've been charged the additional state fee for several years. How about updating your system to recognize that the residing address is not always the state of employment. Program is great, however, this glitch really detracts from the positive.

FEDERAL TAX EASY TO FOLLOW BUT MICHIGAN STATE INCOME TAX FOR PEOPLE BORN BEFORE 1946 WAS NOT EASY TO FOLLOW WHEN INPUTTING PENSION YOU COULD MAKE BIG MISTAKES . TURBO TAX COULD MAKE IT EASIER KNOWING THE AGE OF PERSON FILING TAX AND AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE STATE INCOME TAX FOR THEM OR PROMPT THEM TO DETERMINE WHAT TYPE PENSION THEY HAVE!!!

What's not so great: MICHIGAN PENSION TAX FOR PEOPLE BORN BEFORE 1946 NOT EASY TO FOLLOW ,NEEDS TO BE CLARIFIED

On form 8606 I did not put a value in for the total value of my IRAs. I would have thought there would have been at least a question "did you mean to do that?" I caught it because my refund was too large.
What's great about it: Very easy to use this year.
What's not so great: Missed one item that I think should have been flagged

Good product and is value. Wish after buying the the software there was another charge or was it the state? Does great at filling in from last year's turbotax

TT Rocks!

I have been using TT for many years. It is very user-friendly, and provides great tax support. I recommend it for everyone from the novice user to very experienced self-preparers. I do yearly taxes for just about everyone in my family and would never use any software product other than Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: User Friendly, Great Support
What's not so great: Fee to e-file state returns :(

Excellent Program

I have used TurboTax for many years and have always found the information contained to be accurate and correct. It is the easiest program to work with, and I have used others. Always current updates.
