Lots of time spent

Perhaps I'm somewhat at fault but it seems within the last few years Turbo Tax has become more and more difficult to work with. Wording for info is not clear, easy to misinterpret. When my return was e filed and later accepted, I could not print either window. I may be wrong on this one but it seems as if some of the info entered did not display on the return.This year it seemed as if I would never finish. I'm glad it's over and I plan to use your product next year but hope it's an easier and clearer task.
What's great about it: Last year's data brought forward
What's not so great: Requests for info not clearly worded. Could not print some desired pages

Would never hire an accountant

I have used Turbo Tax for a few years now and love it. It makes it easy to find the deductions that I'm entitled to and gives easy but detailed step by step directions. My now husband used to pay an accountant a ridiculous amount of money to do his taxes and even wound up getting a bill from the IRS for mistakes that were made years later. He now picks up our Turbo Tax at the store every year. I have recommended Turbo Tax to numerous family members and friends over the years.
What's great about it: Easy to do, detailed instructions
What's not so great: Was charged to do my state taxes when I should have been given one free state refund

Keeps track of the details

I've used TurboTax for several years (more than 20) and have always found it to be well written and easy to follow. Makes a difficult job easy. I do taxes for low income persons through AARP also and TurboTax is comparable to the program they use.
What's great about it: very through in its approach
What's not so great: step by step is tedious after gaining experience with the program

Used it for years!

I have used Turbo Tax for the last 8 years and have found it to be so easy to use. One I've gathered all of the information that is needed, it's a breeze to enter the information. I love the automatic calculations, the importation of data from the previous year and the fact that it knows what forms I need to file based on the information that I provide. I hate doing my taxes but this makes it so much simpler.
What's great about it: Automatic calculations
What's not so great: No free State e-file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Weight off the shoulders!

Excellent support when I had a question and sweet to talk to an individual. It was direct and easy without additional buttons taking you places where I did not wish or have time to go to!
