Easy to use

Love how easy it is. Turbotax imports information from last year. This year I used the additional state forms and saved myself about 1 hour of hassle with state forms for my father's returns.
What's great about it: I file my returns as well as my father's returns, Turbotax makes it easy

ie state and zopcode were printed with the city, and had to be re entered
What's great about it: easier to understand. error check better
What's not so great: some data was corrupted and needed reenrtred or placed in the wrong block.

I liked how it showed all the areas that were completed and also our chances of being audited! Makes me feel prepared.

I really enjoyed using turbotax. I've completed my taxes for over 10 years using turbotax and haven't ever been disappointed. Look forward to completing my taxes next year with TurboTaxl. You Rock TurboTax! Thank you for making my life easier ,and cheaper than finding an accountant. Thank you!!!

Good product also for tax and investment planning

I have been using TTax for many years. Filing tax returns is not enjoyable but TTax helps speed the process and catches errors for me.
You may think the best part is catching errors in my entries. For me, it's catching the error of NOT TAKING DEDUCTIONS OR CREDITS I am qualified for. This happens with tax law changes and when there is are life changes, e.g. getting married, having kids, sending kids to college, etc. It's not knowing what you don't know. TTax is not perfect, I sometime have to Google for an explanation, but it does a good job for me.
What's great about it: Besides doing taxes, also lets me plan "what if" situations
What's not so great: Help and explanation for State is not as comprehensive as Fed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Finished before deadline

taxes are done for the whole family. This is so much easier than last year, and it let me use form 8606 which previous years was not easy and had to be handled separately.
