Couldn't be easier

Could not have completed tax return without the help of Turbo Tax. Helped with the more completed forms.
What's great about it: Liked step by step instructions

Long time user outstanding software

The software is so easy to use and takes all the worries out of doing your taxes as a DIY. I have used TurboTax for almost 20 years now and I would NOT use anything else.
It save s me money and worry.

easy, but sometimes vague

its taxes, so if it was as simple as asking turbo tax if XYZ counted as a deduction or if ABC counts as income, it would be easier, but it doesn't, so we settle for the irs publication links which are much improved over years past, but its still is better than the old pen and paper. it allows you to print the forms that will be filed and review them which is ideal. I
ll be using again next year as it makes it so easy to stay with the same product, even if i was not happy, it would be hard to switch to something else.

What's great about it: super easy and allows multiple user levels throuhg guide me, explore, and forms
What's not so great: help menus could be better at guiding you to a more appropiate answer

The step by step process certainly makes doing my taxes quite easy. This year was no exception. I really feel like I get a huge bang for my buck in choosing Turbbo Tax. Tried a comptitors software about 5 years ago. What a mistake. The interface was clunky and program was very slow. Although it was cheaper, it just was not a good fit for me. I happily spen a few more bucks the next year and went back to Turbo Tax; the Program that makes doing taxes a breeze.
What's great about it: Easy to use, Inexpensive, confident feeling that taxes were done right
What's not so great: Found none

You will save money on the return preparation, and you will know how the return works, but there is a time commitment to getting the best return possible.
