Turbo Tax Forever

I have used your product since 2002. I am quite happy with the results and so far have never been audited. I like the question and answer method and the ability to go straight to a section of the return without going though everything all over again. But most times you still have to re-input answer buttons again to get to where you want to be. I would like to see turbo tax remember the question buttons as well and have more latitude to go direct to where you want to change entries by using the actual tax form instead of the turbo tax pages. I have gone back and changed my answers several times and then ended up with errors on worksheets or forms because of leftover inputs which hadn't been removed when I made a change. Overall it is an amazing product and I think it has saved me $ through the questions, and it helps me with each years return by showing the last year's amounts. Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions, Continuous talley of refunds
What's not so great: When returning to continue a return, you have to go through many of the same questions all over again.

I like that Turbo Tax will walk step by step through all the deductions. Therefore I know that I will not miss anything. I also like that I can go back and edit easily if I have made a mistake.
Another Pro to using Turbo Tax is that at the end it will review before transmitting.

On types of income posted on Form 1099-R; help screens starting with the State would be helpful. Continuing dialogues requesting information and several examples for federal and state would eliminate most of the guess work . IRA distributions were simple; but, I found it frustrating when inserting income (1099-R) from several employers --and trying to determine whether or not the income was qualified of non-qualified. Otherwise, I think the software is great!! I have used TT for several years.
What's great about it: Detailed information on most topics; easy access to dialogues on one topic to others.
What's not so great: Had difficulty with in determining classification on types of income indicated on Forms 1099-R.

It's a Slam Dunk!

Filing your tax return couldn't be any easier with TurboTax. Step-by-step quidance helps you complete the required data. The Deduction Maximizer is another great positive for the software. Calculators aren't needed because TurboTax does all the calculations for you. The Audit-Risk Meter informs you if there is a risk of an audit. We've used TurboTax for many years and have never been disappointed.
What's great about it: Easy to follow directions and does the work for you!

I tried to e-file unsuccessfully as it said there was no internet connection when there was. Also for direct debit payment it kept coming up with a direct debit date of 11/08/2013 on our bank account which would be a late payment and thus incur a penalty. I had typed in a payment date of 04/14/2013. This is the first year I have had problems with Turbo Tax e-file after having used it for the past several years. I filed and made payment by mail this year.
What's great about it: Step by step walk thru is good. Filled lines from last yrs form good.
What's not so great: I could not E-file. Program said I was not connected to the internet when I was.
