Enjoyed the ride for once!

I have used this the last 4 years, so appreciate the updates, and seems to be getting more user friendly. My husband is a fire fighter, and his Union stuff can make me crazy you help me along the way! ;)

Makes annual tax return bearable

I have been using TurboTax since the late 1980's. It has made the annual tax return process easier than the manual method. Inclusion of free federal e-filing was a plus. Wish it would come with free state e-file also.
Unfortunately this year, TurboTax NJ State error review kept complaining about missing info in the Business Income Summary Schedule even though I have no business income. There is no way to override this. As a result, the program refuses to let me e-file my NJ return. I notice that other people are complaining about this exact issue at the TurboTax help website. However, there were no responses from TurboTax.
What's great about it: EasyGuide mode, Error Checking
What's not so great: No free State Tax e-file. Unable to override program bug on NJ State

TurboTax - Love it!

I've been using TurboTax for the past 8 or 9 years and love it. Its easy to understand and always been totally accurate. I'd recommend it to anybody who asks and even those who don't!
What's great about it: easy, fast and always correct
What's not so great: makes me pay to file my state return

been using Turbo Tax for years. I feel confident that I'm taking all the deductions I can and not making mistakes
What's great about it: never miss a thing with the guided tour
What's not so great: e-file fee for state, rather pay more to buy in the first place than stop, go get my card etc when filing

Overall a great program. My only issue is if you back up from a screen you have gotten to, it's a little difficult to find your way back. Or if you save your work for another day, I would think when you hit continue, it sometimes doesn't go back to the exact page you left off.
What's great about it: Simple to use
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to pick up where you left off
