The Quedding Family Tax Experience

I have been using Turbotax for the past 5 years and I am very satisfied with its thoroughness and ease of use and return to work on even if still incomplete . It explains a lot of things that tax preparers (even if you meet up with them face-to-face) miss! I will continue to use Turbotax and recommend it to my family and friends.
What's great about it: Vefry thorough, Up-to-date, Very easy to use and return to work on even if still incomplete

It's SO easy!!!

I've used Turbo Tax for years. Would not want to try it any other way. I love the e-file options and the fact that it's free is great. I was able to speak with a real person and get my only question answered quickly. I needed to stop paying estimated taxes because I had finished converting traditional IRA to Roth. The system said I need to continue paying estimated taxes. If I would, I would have had it refunded next year. BUT, I did not want to pay it and then get it refunded next year. It was a planned cash flow process. Called and explained my situation. Was told that the computer can't figure that out and needs the human interface. Thanks for that option.
What's great about it: Takes you by the hand and walks you all the way thru.
What's not so great: Some items need clarification (Ending Estimated Tax)
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX SINCE 1983 ( I BELIEVE). IT HAS NEVER LET ME DOWN. I CAN DO MY TAXES IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS. I WILL ALWAYS USE TURBO TAX.

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 years and I have not had a problem with mistakes or computations in all thse years. I have come to relie on Turbo Tax for my filing. Since I have been retired my returns are less complicated but in the past I had fairely complicated returns and filed in multiple states. Great Product !!
What's great about it: simple step by step instructions ; easy to follow
What's not so great: couldn't efile because the Fed's weren't able to receive it

Quick and Easy

This is about the fourth year of using TurboTax, so I know what to expect. I can assemble my tax filing data easily, answer the questions asked by TurboTax, and complete the filing process in an amazingly short time. I cannot understand why everyone does not use this program, unless they have an extremely complicated tax situation.
What's great about it: Once tax info is gathered, filing requires only answering questions.
What's not so great: Some trouble getting federal ID code--probably not the fault of TurboTax.

No Headache Tax Prep

This is my second year using Turbo Tax... first time review. I had watched my husband do taxes one year (at his request) and really wasn't interested in learning what to do. After a couple years I decided to sit down and do it myself while he was at work. I was amazed at how easy it was. I didn't need him at my side to explain anything. Now I look forward to doing it.
What's great about it: easy to follow instructions - even for a first timer
What's not so great: all is well
